Peak Rail welcomes you to journey back to a bygone age and experience the thrill of steam and diesel on our preserved railway, operating between Rowsley South and Matlock Platform 2 for a distance of 4 miles and open to the public throughout the year. Open for half term: 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25 February and weekends throughout the year.

Crich Tramway Village
The Edwardian Event at Crich tramway village returns for a second year and will recreate the suffragette rally, there will be the Old Time Music Hall, featuring Tommies Tunes and audience participation.
Our Sheffield 15 horse tram will be running both dates (additional charge of £1.00 per person applies to ride on the horse tram).

If you are visiting during the school holidays, there will be a range of craft activities for children to get involved in between 12.00pm and 3.30pm. They will need to be accompanied by an adult and there is a small charge to cover the cost of materials.

The Cromford Steam Rally Society has been established since 1970, and is now one of the most highly rated shows in this part of the country. The rally is of interest and amusement for the whole family,whilst at the same time retaining the essence of the bugone spirit of our event. Our tractor section will give you a unique insight into life on the farm in days gone by. look at our rural crafts section and enjoy the demonstrations taking place over the weekend. We have traditional steamers, historical motor vehicles, stationary engines, a model maequee and miniature steam. Amble around the stalls, have a look at our old time fair rides, look through our sections of motorcycles, commercials vehicles, military displays and our wonderful old time organs.
